Anyone interested in Handgun or Long Gun Disarming & Retention classes in San Francisco?

My friend and Bujinkan teacher Dale Seago has indicated to me that he'd be willing to conduct a day-long seminar in Handgun Disarming & Retention or the 'Long Gun' version of the same class, at the San Francisco Buyu Center. His weekends nowadays are typically busy with security-related work and training, but if he has enough students, he can run a class on the 11th (Sat.), 12th (Sun.), or 18th (Sat.) of January 2003.

I've attended most of the sessions of this class he's given over the last 5 years - as a matter of fact, it's the reason I joined the Bujinkan - and have never failed to learn something new and useful each time.

If anyone's interested, please email me directly, and I'll help make arrangements for the class.

Craig, that's great news! I had Doug out for a seminar at Ken Lux's dojo a year ago or so (I'd met him while living in Tokyo), and can attest to his extraordinary talent. I'm especially happy to hear about about his judan (10th degree) promotion. Congratulations to him! I'll certainly be at his Buyu Center seminar.

Greetings Mr. Whitaker: I just read this entire message board and was wondering if you might help me by providimg some information. I just turned 62 and retired. I have over the years taken considerable martial arts training but not to a significant level. It seems every time I getting close to Brown belt something always came up that I let interfer with continued training. Since retiring I have started walking and lifting some weights and would like like to connect with an exceptional Sensi and dojo in the Sacramento area a couple of days a week just for the dicipline and comradeship that goes with good Martial Arts training. It would probably be a few months before I can condition enough to enjoy the workouts. I have had some Judo, Karate and juijitsu. I was a Marine, and Vietnam Helicopter pilot and retired from the rerserves as a Major. I have extensive firearms training and background. It would be great in connect with a special school that will let me develope my strength and skills. Hope you can offer a little help and recommend a way to approach finding a really good teacher in the Sacramento area. Best Regards, Keith
