Quote of the Day

...as if to make my point for me, when I arrived at that part of the speech, three or four angry individuals -- out of approximately three hundred, undoubtedly Nerf libertarians themselves -- got up and walked out. I was gratified, of course. Any speech that fails to offend at least one percent of your audience is a poor, pale thing, hardly worth making.

Russell, be interested to see any first-hand accounts you may have of what Schwartzenegger tries to do vis a vis the 2nd Amendment.

I'll certainly do that, Tom!

Schwa-chan, to use his Japanese nomiker, is a principle-less compromiser. He will crush any pretext of "2nd amendment" the moment that doing so will ensure something he wants will be passed by the Democrat dominated legislature. Pure pragmatic quid-pro-quo.

It is a pathetic example of the state of "our" declining culture that having a principle is considered a bad thing.
