Quote of the Day

As for Christianity's alleged concern with truth, Christian faith is to free inquiry what the Mafia is to free enterprise. Christianity may be represented as a competitor in the realm of ideas to be considered on the basis of its merits, but this is mere disguise. Like the Mafia, if Christianity fails to defeat its competition by legitimate means (which is a forgone conclusion), it resorts to strong-arm tactics. Have faith or be damned -- this biblical doctrine alone is enough to exclude Christianity from the domain of reason.

Good site you've got. I will address one part that really show's your ignorance in what is worth posting. I am a Christian, which I am sure is to your dismay. Your Quote of the Day for Oct.14th is the problem. No one or nothing dictates to people how they should live their lives. People choose to be Christians, a religion based on Faith. Understand? You don't want to be a Christian? Fine. Move on with your life. Posting an Anti-Christian quote is your right, but why waste your time?? The domain of reason is a place where Christianity belongs. George Smith's book is a joke by the way. Read it and got a great chuckle out of it. As a Recon Marine in Vietnam I can tell you that my faith proved itself to me on a daily basis. You might try opening your mind up someday. Christians aren't perfect, Christ is. Some people worry about where to find latex gloves on sale and some people live life.

"Force Recon Marine",

It's pretty arrogant of you to question my use of my time on my site. If you don't like my opinions, I'm cool with that, but you can take your simpleminded Christian proselytizing elsewhere. Start your own blog, "Marine".
