"The Pepper Plant" Chunky Garlic Hot Pepper Sauce

I mentioned this in detail on a mailing list where friend L. Neil Smith was praising garlic. I chipped in with a recommendation for Chunky Garlic Hot Pepper Sauce in "The Pepper Plant" line of sauces by Blossom Valley Foods (800-541-4355) in Gilroy, California ("Garlic Capital of the World"). You can buy this fantastic sauce - with which I often drown the Chorizo Scramble I sometimes have at a local eatery - online at Yahoo, and at various San Francisco Bay Area locations. Magnificent stuff.

Hi Dave,

I'll certainly look for the Lee Kum Kee Chili Garlic Sauce in one of the many Korean supermarkets within a 5 mile radius of here! And that Garlic Valley Farms garlic juice product looks fantastic! Thanks for the recommendations.

Russell, I recall you mentiong Gilroy's production of garlic-flavoured ice cream during our trip through California on our way to the Frontsight course over a year ago. Arrrggggggghhhhhh!!!

Generally though, I love garlic.

Hi, Your comment made me laugh, I am hooked on the stuff and buy it in Santa Barbara by the case and bring it up here to Oregon where I live. I even visited the plant in Gilroy when I passed through last year. It was once manufactured in Atascardero/San Luis.
Nothing else like it thanks for the tip I will check out Yahoo, I cant find it in Santa Barbara any longer so I bet they may stop manufacturing it soon.

Oscar,

I have no idea where you can get Pepper Plant products in Argentina.

How many bottles are you looking for? I *might* be persuaded to box up a few bottles for you and ship them if you're actually serious about wanting some (if you make it worth my time...)

This is absolutely the best sauce ever made! Perfect blend for all types of food. The kids enjoy it as well!

I would like to order a few bottles, can you provide me the information to do so?

I'd appreciate it!

Thank you!
Cathy

The TASTIEST hot sauce that I have ever tasted. I have tried many brands, but as far as not "burning me up", this the BEST! It creeps up on me, flavorful, and enhances the flavor of whatever you are eating. Bought it at the First Awakening Restaurant in Salinas, and was completly satisfied.
Looking for an outlet to purchase more in San Francisco.
I will look no further, for there is NONE better for me.

I just googled "chunky garlic hot pepper sauce" a few minutes ago. There are several sites that sell it by the bottle. In addition, google "blossom valley foods" and you can purchase by the 12 bottle case direct from the mfg AND you can mix and match with their "original" saude.

I have tied the original california style hot pepper sauce at the Country Inn restaurants in SAN jose & even bought a small bottle there (5oz.) Are there any stores in San Jose where I can buy this, maybe in bigger bottles. Is the chunky garlic hotter than the original?
