Interstate 60 (2002)

Here's a film I heard about on the smith2004-discuss list a few months ago and placed on my Netflix rental queue: Interstate 60, a bizarre road flick with Gary Oldman, Christopher Lloyd, Kurt Russell and Chris Cooper. No one I've spoken to about this film has heard of it, which is too bad: it's great. I won't give a comprehensive review here, and no spoilers, but I will say I hurt myself laughing during the protagonist's stopover in "Morlaw".

Ahem.

I say, old chap, not to put too fine a point on it, and all that sort of thing, but just for the archives, I do believe t'was *I* who recommended this film during one of our first-of-the-year email flurries. ;-D

I *knew* you'd enjoy it!

Cheerio!

Ah! YES! It was *you*! I was wracking my brain trying to remember who recommended it to me, and even asked on the Smith list - with no answer - so mea maxima culpa... *thanks* for the recommendation!

You are, of course, most welcome!

I think it deserves the widest possible viewership. So, perhaps your mentioning it on the Smith list--as well as here--will spur others to have a looksee.
