However, if a particular procedure solves a known problem, someone will pay to have that problem solved and someone else will make money providing that procedure.

I have yet to be convinced that there is anything "needed" that cannot be provided either cheaper or better privately.

That is not to say that other people do not disagree with me, and I respect that disagreement. What I resent is that I am forced to pay for the programs that they want. Hmm, maybe that's their whole objective.
