There is a nice obituary of Crick in the Daily Telegraph today, and a front-page item. His passing has got a fair amount of respectful coverage in the press in Britain, which makes a welcome change from the obsession with air-head celebrities.

A reat man who probably has immeasurably improved human life.

Makes you wonder if he should have signed up for cryonic suspension. With his outlook I am surprised he did not think about it.
